On International Women’s Day, our CEO, Mr. Arun Nayyar, has been featured in Elets – The Banking & Finance Post, for his views on NeoGrowth’s approach to #BreakTheBias in SME lending to women.
Mr. Arun Nayyar’s Quote: A report by IFC says, 20% of the population of SMEs in India are WSMEs, which brings the number to around 20 million. As the economy is roaring back to normal, there is also a need for financial inclusiveness, especially when it comes to women entrepreneurs. It is not surprising that women entrepreneurs who run small businesses are fighting back, and we, at NeoGrowth, are supporting their endeavor. We extend easy business loans to women entrepreneurs and act as their financial partners. We have observed women entrepreneurs run businesses with a lot of passion and play multiple roles such as sole proprietors, partners, or directors. To support women entrepreneurs and equal lending, NeoGrowth extended loans to 2800+ women in FY 2021-22. NeoGrowth has always focused on promoting gender inclusion by lending to first-generation entrepreneurs, assisting women entrepreneurs. NeoGrowth follows a non-discriminatory approach towards lending to women borrowers, thus empowering them with equal opportunity for access to credit. On this International Women’s Day, NeoGrowth takes the pledge to #BreaktheBias in credit financing.
